Flint-striker Army

Large version of this high-quality CocoShell handled flint striker, made by Swedish ‘Light my Fire’.

Originally developed for the Swedish Department of Defense, these Swedish flint strikers are a flash of genius. Their 3,000°C spark makes fire building easy in any weather, at any altitude. Used by a number of armies around the world, their dependability has made them a favourite of survival experts, hunters, fishermen and campers. It has also found its way into cabins and backyards as a fool-proof way to light stoves.

Essential bushcraft equipment.

The Army is exceptionally durable and will give approx 12,000 strikes, and work equally well when wet. It’s approved by the International Survival Instructors Association. The bright spark can also be used as emergency signal.
