Ember Wood-Fired Pizza Oven

Experience the joy & creativity of real wood fired cooking with this amazing new oven. This beautifully engineered pizza oven gives a large cooking area for cooking pizzas up to about 12″ diameter. There’s also enough headroom for cooking bread, veg and meat. The Ember has all the benefits of other portable ovens with the added benefit of being dual-fuel. Fire it with wood pellets or just sticks of wood!
👉 The GREAT advantage of this is that if you ever run out of wood pellets, you can still use this oven with normal sticks of wood. Even garage-forecourt kindling works.
The oven is very easy to use. Fill the hopper with pieces of kiln dried wood or pellets, light and experience authentic wood fired cooking! Fun and user friendly, the Ember is the ideal introduction to wood fired cooking.
With 3cm of ceramic insulation keeping the oven toasty, your oven can reach temperatures of over 400°c within 15 minutes. It also remains consistent throughout your cooking experience – monitored by the built-in thermometer. At full heat, you can bake a crispy and authentic pizza within 60 seconds.
The foldable legs and removable chimney make the Ember compact and easy to transport. Ideal for the beach, camping, festivals and parties.
Don’t be restricted to wood pellets!
This pizza oven is designed to work equally well with wood pellets or with small sticks of dry wood. We sell boxes of kiln-dried wood ideal for this, but suitable wood is available everywhere – you can even use sticks from your own garden or a woodland. Or, yes, bags of garage forecourt kindling!
Lighting you Ember Oven
For pellets, we recommend using a non-toxic firelighting gel for such as FireDragon. Squirt some of this onto the pellets and light. Wait until the pellets are burning well, then gradually add more.
For sticks: non-toxic non-petroleum TinderCard works best, without risk of tainting your oven with nasty smells.

- Additional Peel & Brush set: the oven comes with a peel, but this set adds an additional peel and a brush for cleaning the stone.
- Cover & Carry Bag: generous nylon bag for placing the oven in for transit, or for throwing over the oven to keep light showers off.

It turns out pizza tastes even better in the woods! We bought this after seeing a different one in action but especially liked the fact that that it can run on ordinary dry sticks. It does, and gets up to cooking temperature quickly. Had the technique mastered after three pizzas – much faster than expected. Recommend getting an extra ‘peel’ so you can have the next one ready to go in straight away. Needs very thin bases or just cook longer at a lower temperature for thicker dough.
