The last safe ordering date is...

We recommend placing orders by Monday 19 December to maximise the chances of receiving your products by Christmas.

However...

We will dispatch all orders placed by 21 December before Christmas, and we would expect many of these to reach customers by the 24th. Do contact us if you have a particularly urgent need and we will see what we can do.

We are taking a break...

The Wild Stoves office will close from 23 December until 2 January 2012. You can place an order on our website anytime over this period, but products will not be dispatched until our return. They will be processed in order of receipt.

Thank you and happy Christmas!

Looking for something a little different this bonfire night?

Made from any log, these remarkable flares can burn for many hours, giving a sculpture-like centrepoint of flames and glowing embers radiating delicious heat to all around. Less smokey than a bonfire, and very light on your woodpile!

Rocket stoves in tipis

Are rocket stoves suitable as cookers and space heaters in tipis?

tentipiWe get many enquiries about the suitability of our rocket stoves for use as cookers and heaters in tipis.

As with any solid fuel fire, despite producing almost no smoke under normal operation, rocket stoves can produce some harmful pollutants, including carbon monoxide. Therefore, we are very clear that these are for use in well-ventilated areas – which usually means the outdoors. Tipis are a grey area, because they are designed to house open fires (one of their great charms) and when ventilation is managed with skill, they may well be safe.

Welcome to Wild Stoves
